The present-day German-speaking congregation in Edinburgh dates back to 1947. Edinburgh is now the hub for the “extended parish” of Scotland and North-east England, and the minister for the region resides here. Services usually take place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, at Laudate Haus.

In this service, five young people from our congregation will be confirmed. The congregation is invited to a toast after the service. The usual post-service teas & coffees will not be taking place.

We will read a story, depending on the seasons, and sing German children’s songs together. Afterwards you can browse our German children’s books for sale. Those with children already at school are also welcome to just come for the books at around 10:45am.
