The protestant congregation in Newcastle has existed since 1881, and has had its home in the current building in the district of Shieldfield since 1965. Services are currently held at the church on a regular basis, in the afternoons of the fourth Sunday of the month.

The Playgroup for 0-5 year olds meets on Saturdays, 10am - 11:30am. Due to renovations in the church, we currently meet at Shieldfield Art Works, 1 Clarence Street, NE2 1YH. Dates will be shared here on this website. For further enquiries, please contact tomke.veenhuis@germanchurch.org.uk
The Saturday School for children age 5+ meets every two weeks during term time, 11am to 1pm at the Martin Luther Kirche. The Autumn term runs from 21st September to 7th December.
